“Beyond the Eye” represents what my art is about: Expressing what I feel intuitively beyond what I can see. In addition to curating this collection of favorite drawings and paintings dating back to 1978, I have been focused on creating new work. You could say it is both a retrospective and a retro-prospective, revealing the progression as it looks back and looks ahead. The common threads: my love for vivid, semi-translucent color and the intersection of organic, curved arches and geometric angles.
